Medication Pickup

Letter to parents from Nursing Services says, "Dear Parents/Guardians, All medications and medical equipment must be picked up from the school health office at the end of the school year. Please make a plan with your school nurse or health office staff for pickup. Medications cannot go home with your student. Tasty Food Offers Free Meals and Snacks at 26 Sites Across the Denver Metro

Tasty Food is currently taking a break to gear up for summer. All Denver youth ages 3-18 can still get free snacks on a first-come, first-served basis at select sites thanks to the Denver Inner City Parish. No ID or registration is required. See the participating sites. Youths should ask at the front desk for their free snack. The full summer meal program will kick off on Monday, June 10 at 26 locations! Check out the summer flyer for locations, dates, times and meal service information.

Summer Resources for Families

DPS Summer Meal Program (website) – Every summer Denver Public Schools participates in the Summer Food Service Program. The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a federally-funded, state-administered program and refers to the free meal program offered during summer months that provides nutritious meals to children 18 years and younger at no charge, regardless of income, race or religion.

Denver Health School Based Clinics Summer Flier (English/Spanish) – All services are provided at NO COST to families and any Denver Public Schools student or sibling can be seen at the summer locations. All other locations will reopen at the start of the school year.

Denver Health FORGE & PEAS Programs Flier (English) – The PEAS program provides psychological, developmental, and logistical support to the families of Denver’s infants and young children.

Clothes to Kids Flier (English/Spanish) – Students must be age 3-21, live in the 11-county Denver Metro Area and be enrolled in preschool – 12th grade, or working toward a GED. 

DPS Community Hubs – All Hub services are available at no cost to DPS families and Denver community members. Services include but are not limited to: basic needs assistance, parenting classes, GED English/Spanish support, language classes, Multilingual Education supports (newcomer, immigrants, and refugee families support), etc.

DPS Family and Community Engagement (FACE) – Provides access to resources, information, education and support for everyone in the DPS community at any point in their life’s journey, supporting our district’s 93,000 students and their families.

Recursos de verano para familias

CherryArts “Art Sustains Us” Art Camp

It’s time to get creative, join us for an amazing one-week summer art camp! CherryArts is hosting this interactive art experience in partnership with nationally renowned artist, Pat Milbery. Participants get to explore their own creativity while developing new artistic skills involving printmaking, painting and sculpture.

The collaborative artwork will be showcased at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival and then becomes a part of the CherryArts Mobile Art Gallery traveling to schools and communities throughout the Denver metro area. At camp, students will also create individual artwork and explore creating sustainable artwork on an individual and collaborative level.

Campamento de arte “El arte nos sostiene” de CherryArts
