Denver Health operates 18 School-based Health Centers (SBHC) that serve DPS students. Valdez is fortunate to have a school-based health center next door at North High School! Services are provided at NO COST to families and the centers serve more than 13,000 students annually. SBHCs are open for both in-person and telehealth appointments for new and existing patients. SBHCs offer medical, mental health, dental (at select locations), health education, as well as insurance enrollment and advising services. Appointments can be made any time during the school year.
